    Baghdad Today - Baghdad
Today, Thursday (July 4, 2024), the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, held social researchers morally responsible and defined two basic tasks for them.
The Ministry of Labor stated in a statement received by "Baghdad Today" that "Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ahmed Al-Asadi opened the information hall in the Women's Protection Department in Anbar during his visit to the governorate on Thursday, 7/4/2024," praising "the efforts of the governor and the working staff in the provincial council for their exceptional support for the ministry's departments."
According to the statement, Al-Asadi stressed the "continuation of the efforts of the ministry and its employees to include all those entitled to its services despite the limited capabilities," calling on "all governorates to follow the example of Anbar Governorate in supporting the ministry's efforts aimed at providing services to vulnerable groups in society."
He added during his meeting with a number of social researchers that "their role is distinguished from that of other workers because they are in direct contact with citizens, and they bear a moral responsibility before being a professional one, as it is their responsibility to determine those included in the services provided by the ministry."
He pointed out that "the first month of this year witnessed the launch of a recovery campaign to uncover those who violate the social protection network, so social researchers have two basic tasks: social research of those who are actually entitled to be included in the ministry's services, and uncovering those who violate them."
Al-Asadi stressed "the ministry's serious efforts to secure transportation fees for social researchers," noting that "this matter was discussed with the Parliamentary Labor Committee, and that the matter depends on the Ministry of Finance implementing the provisions of the 2024-2025 budget, promising researchers to obtain all their rights in a way that contributes to providing the best services to citizens."
