    Information/Report..
Despite the news that indicated that the leaders of the Sunni blocs agreed to withdraw support from Salem Al-Issawi and direct it towards the former Speaker of Parliament Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani to return him to the position, there is a movement within the Sunni forces that indicates that the members of these blocs are rebelling against their leaders and continuing to support Al-Issawi.

It is noteworthy that the Azm coalition, headed by Muthanna Al-Samarra’i, and the Sovereignty coalition, headed by Khamis Al-Khanjar, announced their support for the nomination of MP Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani for the presidency of the House of Representatives.
A joint statement by the two alliances stated that their decision comes in response to the efforts of the national forces of the Coordination Framework and the Kurdistan Democratic Party to resolve the problem of electing the Speaker of the House of Representatives and in compliance with the decision of the Federal Court and to avoid falling into constitutional errors.
The leader of the Hasm Alliance, Dhari Al-Dulaimi, considered that the announcement of the Sovereignty Alliances and their intention to support MP Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani for the position of Speaker of Parliament and their abandonment of MP Salem Al-Issawi is the beginning of resolving the crisis of the Speaker of Parliament.

Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, "With this announcement, all that remains is to agree with the Coordination Framework to set a session to elect a new Speaker of the House of Representatives."
He added that "Al-Mashhadani was not the choice of the Progress Party, but was supported as a forced choice due to the withdrawal of Shaalan Al-Karim from competing for the position, indicating that "the consensus of the Coordination Framework to support the candidate Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani will facilitate the exit from the crisis."
For his part, the leader of the United Anbar Alliance, Mohammed Al-Dulaimi, denied the news that indicated that the Sunni forces had agreed on a person to head the House of Representatives.
Al-Dulaimi told Al-Maalouma Agency that "the news that talked about an agreement between 55 Sunni MPs to pass a consensus figure to fill the position of Parliament Speaker is false and is merely a lie that was marketed through the media and social networking sites by the Progress Party in a new maneuver to buy time and use procrastination and delay methods to keep the position vacant until the end of the current parliamentary session."
He added, "Al-Halbousi did not respond to any initiative and is still adhering to his previous position that the nomination of any consensus figure should be endorsed by the Progress Party and subject to conditions set by the party."
He added, "The call by the Coordination Framework forces to hold a session to elect a Speaker of Parliament will put Halbousi in an embarrassing position, as he is determined to obstruct the holding of a session that leads to the election of a Speaker of Parliament."

The head of the Progress Party accuses the dismissed Speaker of Parliament, Mohammed al-Halbousi, of obstructing the election of a new Speaker of Parliament and keeping the parliament run by proxy through Mohsen al-Mandalawi.
The head of the parliamentary Amal bloc, Yasser Hashem, confirmed that the divisions and withdrawals occurring within the Sunni house will further complicate matters regarding the issue of the position of parliament speaker.
Hashem told Al-Maalouma Agency, "There is intense political movement within the Shiite house to end the issue of the parliament presidency, indicating that a Sunni political bloc continues to cling to the position of parliament presidency despite the ongoing defections."
He added, "The political forces want to hold a session to choose a new speaker of parliament, but the Sunni dispute is what prevented that," noting that "the Sunni component's failure to agree on a single candidate harmed the component."
He added, "The divisions and withdrawals occurring within the Sunni house will make matters more complicated." End 25m
