On Thursday, September 5, 2024, Duhok Governor Dr. Ali Tatar and the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, discussed developing trade exchange between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Turkey.[/size]
[size=45]Today, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Ibrahim Khalil Crossing, Dohuk Governor Dr. Ali Tatar, Zakho Independent Administration Supervisor Kohdar Sheikho, Ibrahim Khalil Crossing Supervisor Hamid Ali, and Director of Turkish Republic Affairs in the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Department of Foreign Relations Hoshang Ahmed Salih received the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan, and the Turkish Consul to the Kurdistan Region, Arman Topcu.[/size]
[size=45]According to a statement issued by the Ibrahim Al-Khalil International Gateway, the meeting discussed “ways to enhance joint work to develop trade exchange and facilitate the movement of transit trucks.”[/size]
[size=45]The possibility of increasing the number of border crossings between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey was also discussed, in addition to discussing ways to provide more facilities for tourists from both sides.[/size]
