The Ministry of Communications announced today, Monday, the start of renting officially approved mailboxes to Iraqi and foreign companies, citizens and government institutions, while indicating a significant increase in the index of reserving mailboxes through the electronic platform.
A statement by the ministry, received by "Al-Eqtisad News", stated that "the Iraqi Post has begun renting officially approved boxes to Iraqi and foreign companies, citizens and government institutions through the link to the electronic boxes platform."
He added, "The number of rented postal boxes reached 12,804 boxes, as all boxes in the post offices (Baghdad, Rashid, Yarmouk, Al-Jadriya, Al-Alawiya, and Al-Jami'a neighborhood) have been exhausted," stressing "the launch of the service on the platform in all post offices inside Baghdad and the governorates soon."
He pointed out that "the electronic platform for funds is one of the services included in the government program to simplify and facilitate the state's administrative procedures."
He pointed out that "this increase comes as a result of the Ministry of Communications' keenness to provide an integrated postal service to customers in line with technological development."
