    Information / Baghdad ..
Announced the deputy for the province of Basra Charter Hamidi, on Wednesday, the doubling of investment funds for the province of Basra within the budget of 2019, noting that the budget items included the allocation of petro-dollars and the granting of 50 imports of border ports to the province.
"The House of Representatives hosted the officials of Basra during the past few days and listened to the needs of the city to be included in the budget," Hamidi said in a statement.
"The House of Representatives doubled the investment allocations for the province of the city as well as increased allocations for health, education, environment and municipalities."
She added that "budget items included the allocation of petro-dollar amounts and the granting of 50 imports of border ports to the province as well as the grant of all levies collected to the same city without sending it to the federal government," likely "to pass the budget in part."
