Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Foreign Minister, William Hague, condemned the coward attacks that took place in Baghdad on last Tuesday.
He emphasized that the vast majority of Iraqis want to build a country of peace and prosperity. Commenting on the coordinated bombings that led to killing more than 50 citizens and injuring 200 others in Baghdad on last Tuesday, he said “I condemn the cowardly attacks that occurred in Baghdad today.”
“The majority of Iraqis want to forget the former stage of violence and to build a country of peace and security, and the United Kingdom will continue to support them in their quest,” he continued.
“We remember at this particular time all those who lost their lives to the war in Iraq – whether they are British or Iraqi or others,” he mentioned, noting that “We also recognize the sacrifices and determination of the Iraqi people to overcome terrorism and conflict as well as the disunity among them.”
“Again we confirm our commitment to help Iraq as it goes in rebuilding its future,” he concluded.
