    The Central Bank said Thursday that it had taken several actions after documents and information concerning breaches of some banks and companies in selling foreign currency.
     


    Central said during his statement received "tomorrow", "the World Bank has established during the period 2012-2015 many cases have the competent Iraqi courts, banks and companies in violation of the instructions window sale of foreign currency, especially concerning money laundering issues, pointing out that the number of such cases has reached the limits of 97 suit belonging to banks and other financial institutions and clients of clients and has issued several judgements in this regard".
     


    The Bank said that "imposing fines amounting to 400 billion dinars borders included 40 banks", stating that "punish 426 non-bank financial institution to fines and warning alarm and deprivation of sell the currency window, and dragging licensing and leave some with imposing Trusteeship on four banks, one of which arrived to the limit, while other banks have been rehabilitated.
     


    Drew Central has multiple fines worth 5 billion dinars in respect of other banking irregularities. "
     


    He called everyone "to show responsibility and credibility, things to consider and address look professional and objective as interest domestically and internationally," the World Bank is fully prepared to inform those concerned is the Bank, the issues referred to in the field and documentary.
     


    He added that "most of the remarks were characterized by fallacies and spreading an atmosphere of pessimism and frustration, either because of lack of accurate understanding or for purposes not objective emanating from different motivations, connected with political reality and bickering back and and diatribes."
