[ltr]Embarked on new US ambassador Douglas Silliman new duties in Iraq and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Extraordinary of the United States of America in Baghdad and met with Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, before handing his credentials to Iraqi President Fuad Masum.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement issued by the US Embassy in Baghdad received / balances News /, a copy of which, "The Ambassador Silliman arrived in Iraq on September 1, 2016 and met with Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, presented his credentials to President Fuad Masum papers, which prior to their formal adoption Ambassador Silliman papers On behalf of the Government of Iraq. [ltr]Ambassador Silliman has a long service in the diplomatic corps of foreign service personnel, the US State Department, where he served as US ambassador to Kuwait from 2014 until 2016.[/ltr]
[ltr]Okdma and was an adviser in the Office of the US Department of State for Near Eastern Affairs from 2013 until 2014, and worked in the US embassy in Iraq between 2011 and 2013 Kwizera adviser for political affairs and then as deputy chief of mission.[/ltr]
[ltr]Silliman also served as Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Turkey between 2008 and 2011 prior to his work in Iraq.[/ltr]
[ltr]Since joining the Foreign Service in 1984, he served ambassador also Silliman positions in Jordan, Haiti, Pakistan, Tunisia and the Office of the US State Department's coordinator for southern Europe.[/ltr]
[ltr]The ambassador Silliman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and a Master of Arts degree from George Ashentun.anthy University 29 / tc n[/ltr]

My goodness! What have they done to this ambassador?? LOL Look at his face. This is a terrible picture of him. He looks like he is scared to death... How many ambassadors have they ran through that country??? Must be rough on them..
