    A senior official at the US embassy confirmed that the United States is committed to thestrategic framework agreement with Iraq. 
    He reiterated Washington 's support for theGovernment of Haider al - Abadi in the fight against terrorism, and confirmed that 20 American companies operating oil and services sectors in the southern provinces. 
    And linked to the relationship between the United States and the Republic of Iraq Bagatin: Strategic Framework Agreement (SFA) , which covers the political, economic and security relations with Iraq, and thesecurity agreement -almarovh as the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) - that implements our security relationship. The Iraqi Foreign Ministry has revealed, on Thursday, for the formation of an Iraqi higher committee to reconsider the strategic framework agreement with Washington, and the demand of the latter holding a joint meeting to discuss some strategic points. 
    The Committee headed by Foreign Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari, and membership of a group of agents and ministries of higher education, foreign affairs, defense, finance, trade, transport, culture as well as the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers representatives. 
    In this context , Stephanie and William said, deputy US ambassador to Iraq during a news conference held at the US Consulate building in Basra and attended (range Press), " The government and the US is still working on according to the strategic framework agreement with Iraq , which is supportive of the Government Abadi."
