The President of the Republic approves the Federal Budget Law

President of the Republic Barham Salih , on Monday, the Federal Budget Law for the current year.

The Presidency said in a statement by Alsumaria News a copy of it, "President Barham Salih Sadiq, today, the Federal Budget Law for the current year."

Saleh stressed, according to the statement, "the need to provide basic services for citizens, and start the stage of construction and reconstruction," valuing "the efforts that contributed to the preparation of the draft budget and study and legislation, whether in the government or the House of Representatives.

On January 24, 2019, the House of Representatives voted on the Federal Budget Law of 2019.

Saleh stressed in a statement the need to provide basic services to citizens, and start the stage of construction and reconstruction, praising the efforts that contributed to the preparation of the draft budget and study and legislation, whether in the government or the House of Representatives.
The Iraqi parliament approved on the 24th of last month the general budget of the country worth nearly $ 112 billion.
The budget revenues amounted to 106 trillion dinars (88.5 billion dollars), while expenditures were estimated at 133 trillion dinars (about 112 billion dollars).
While the total budget deficit amounted to about 23 billion dollars. The budget was estimated to account for revenues based on $ 56 per barrel of oil, at an export rate of 3.9 million barrels per day.
Oil exports account for up to 89% of revenues for this budget.
The proportion of investments amounted to 27.8 billion dollars, which enter the budget this year.
The budget included the re-exchange of the share of the Kurdistan Region, which was not received in the budget in 2018. The
budget for the new year increased by 45% from last year, and is among the largest budgets in the history of this country oil.
Iraq had approved the budget of 2018 with a total value of 77.5 billion dollars, with a deficit of 11 billion dollars.
