Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqiya Slate pointed out “The Iraqi national team U-20 accomplished a national achievement and deserve to be proud of.”
Through his tweeter page, he said “Through their great efforts, this team managed to reach such stage so we are proud of them.”
On last Wednesday, the Iraqi Team under 20 lost the chance to qualify for the final match of the World Cup U 20 after losing to Uruguay through the penalty kicks.
The match of Iraq Youth football team against its Uruguayan counterpart ended in its full and extra times with a (1-1) draw.
The Uruguayan team scored seven kicks for six successful kicks for the Iraqi team.
