The Minister of Trade and agency Salman Jumaili, Wednesday, the necessity ofactivating the joint committee between Iraq and Vietnam , as expressed Vietnamese Ambassador to Baghdad's readiness to Tefial Bilateral Commission and trade exchange, referring to his country 's need for Iraqi crude oil and the need of Iraq for tea and button coffee Vietnamese.
Jumaily said in a statement issued after the meeting, today, Vietnamese Ambassador in Baghdad Funk van Wan, and seen by Alsumaria News, "it was discussed in promoting economic and trade relations and the prospects of developing and activating the trade exchange between the two countries , " stressing that "Vietnam relations are old and strong and very careful the continuation, and activating the work of the joint Commission between the two countries to their importance in the development of economic and trade relations. He called on the Vietnamese side Jumaili "to participate in the Baghdad International Fair to showcase their products as well as to invite Iraqi businessmen to visit Vietnam and see the Vietnamese companies."

The delegation from the Ministry of Commerce has held a series of talks with Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce Vietnamese after his visit to the latter in 2010 in order to develop trade relations between the two countries and to discuss the company Saraml Iraqi - Vietnamese joint 2010.
