[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Hussein al-Shihristani, stated that the Council of Ministers is about to issue a new law for the prisoners of Rafha Camp to send it to the parliament to be endorsed.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by Shihristani’s office received by IraqiNews.com, cited “Shihristani received a group of the political prisoners in presence of the Acting head of Foundation of the Political Prisoners, Safaa al-Din al-Safi.”[/ltr]
[ltr]The statement quoted Shihristani after having a banquet with them, as saying “I personally follow up this issue to settle all the obstacles that hinder getting your rights, calling them to state their problems to be settled.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The CoMs is about to issue a new law for the prisoners of Rafha prisoners to send it to the parliament to be endorsed,” he concluded.[/ltr]
[ltr]“The attendants appreciated Shihristani’s efforts and support for them,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
