– Iraq News Network said the parliamentary Finance Committee on
Thursday that the Iraqi dinar against the u.s. dollar is stable, noting
that lifting the dollar price is possible. A
member of the Finance Committee Secretary Hadi said new Central Bank
managed to control the situation and to stabilize the exchange rates
after strained during the crisis raised against the previous
administration and suspicions of corruption and Deputy Bank Governor
expelled and a group of his staff, but the situation is more stable. " "The
Central Bank Governor was authorized to lift security dollar dinar in
view of the fact that the option is enabled at present as well as the
Bank's intentions to raise the value of the Iraqi dinar has long since
past years have seen a rise in its value against the dollar." "The
Governor of the Central Bank will own the option under this
authorization to choose appropriate time to lift the dinar and it will
determine when and how this step depending on work experience".
