News / The Ministry of Peshmerga negotiator delegation arrived on
Sunday to Baghdad and held a meeting with the government military
delegation.
A Kurdish source said in an interview with "Shafaq
News" that “The Ministry of Peshmerga negotiator delegation arrived on
Sunday to Baghdad and is holding now a meeting with the government
military delegation to discuss the issue of the security forces
deployment in the disputed areas."
It was scheduled for Kurdistan
delegation and Baghdad military delegation to hold a meeting next week,
but technical reasons prevented from holding it.
The secretary
general of the ministry, Jabbar Yawar told "Shafaq News", that “the
postponement of the meeting came at the request of Baghdad “.
The
two delegations had met earlier this month, in Erbil to discuss the
mechanism of the spread and the presence of the security force in the
disputed areas, as the first meeting that was held in Baghdad last week
resulted in a initial agreement to resolve the crisis raised in those
areas.
