Masoum and Jabouri discuss the preparations for the "Conference of the Year"

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - President of the Republic Fuad Masum discussed at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Wednesday with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri the ongoing preparations for holding the "Baghdad Conference of Representatives of the Liberated Regions".
The two presidents discussed the security and political developments at the national and international levels and ways to enhance the constructive dialogue between the parties to the political process without exception, in order to achieve the aspiration of the Iraqi people for stability, progress and national unity and deepen the confidence of citizens in state institutions, Support plans for the return of displaced persons and the restoration and reconstruction of liberated cities. "
It is noteworthy that Sunni forces plan to hold a conference in the capital Baghdad mid-July to establish a political reference Sunni.
The move prompted the reservation of some political forces to the participation of "wanted for the judiciary and accused of terrorism" at the conference.
"If there is a judicial order against someone and comes to Iraq, he must surrender himself to the authorities," Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi told the conference. "We told the political forces that we refused to hold foreign conferences and informed the host countries."
