Parliamentary elections reveal the existence of two US bases in Nineveh
BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Nine US military bases near Tal Afar and Sinjar are being used for air strikes targeting a terrorist organization in Tal Afar and Hawija,
"The American forces are currently using an air base near the district of Tal Afar where they are taking a launching area for their aircraft against the organization calling the terrorist in the areas controlled by Mosul, Tal Afar and Hawija," she said. "The presence of this base will contribute to Accelerate the liberalization of the city because of the proximity of air support to the International Alliance. "
"Another base opened under the control of an organization calling on the terrorist to spend the Sinjar district, where the Yezidis who were trapped in Jabal Sinjar and still continue," she said.
Military sources said Wednesday that US special forces and armored personnel carriers arrived at an airbase in Tal Afar and were stationed there to help Iraqi forces fight a terrorist organization.
