US Secretary of State for Political and Military Affairs Tina Kaidanov is expected to visit Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar and Israel.
"Kaydanov will consult with senior civilian and military officials in Qatar, as well as with US military commanders present at the central base there," the ministry said in a statement.
During her visit to Kuwait, she said, "In her meetings with senior political and military officials, she will focus on expanding long-term partnerships in military readiness, arms transfers, maritime security and capacity-building to combat terrorism."
The official said that the US official "will discuss the US official in Iraq, the progress made in defeating the organization is calling." Ending / 25
