Hashemi: Abadi's visit to Syria will complete negotiations on border security

The strategic expert, Al-Hashemi confirmed on Monday that the success of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider Abadi stop the infiltration of terrorist elements and material support of these groups through his recent visit to neighboring countries. He said that his visit to Syria will complete the security ring for Iraq and stand infiltration.
"Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, through his visit to most neighboring countries, succeeded in persuading these countries to cooperate in security and exchange intelligence on the movements of al-Da'ash to prevent the infiltration or support of terrorists from within those countries," Hashemi said in a statement.
He added that "these visits and improved relations with neighboring countries gave an incentive to Iraq and its security forces to eliminate terrorism at high speed and secure its borders."
Al-Hashemi said that "the battles in western Anbar, which is the last stronghold of Dahesh is conducted in accordance with high-level coordination with Syria and in the event of the visit of the Prime Minister to Syria will be agreed on joint military cooperation to secure the Iraqi border from all sides and prevent the infiltration of terrorists from any country."
