Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq participated in high-level dialogue on International Migration and Development in the UN General Assembly on its 8th session.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “Iraq was represented by its Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Mohammed Ali Al Hakim, who delivered a speech in which he reviewed Iraq’s point of view on International Migration and the procedures taken by the Iraqi government in this issue.”
“He also tackled the challenges faced by Iraq in the field of voluntary return of Iraqi migrants,” the statement concluded.
