    [ltr]A suicide attack on a funeral in eastern Afghanistan on Sunday 31 December 2017 killed at least 15 people and wounded 14 others.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Local media reported that a suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest detonated himself at a funeral service on Sunday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Pictures believed to be the site of the attack, published on Twitter, show bloodstains, clothes and shoes scattered on the ground.[/ltr]
    [ltr]No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, which comes three days after a suicide attack on a Shi'ite cultural center in Kabul killed 41 people and wounded 84.[/ltr]
