    [rtl]The Afghan army said on Friday that 11 militants had been killed, including two leaders, during joint security operations between the army and police forces in eastern Afghanistan.[/rtl]


    [rtl]"At least 11 militants from Daqash were killed during joint security operations between the army and police forces in eastern Afghanistan," the Afghan army's Sayalab 201 Corps said in a statement.[/rtl]

    [rtl]"The operation was carried out in coordination with the police, army and local police forces in the province of De Bala in the east of the country," he said, adding that "the operation also resulted in the destruction of armed hideouts during operations, as well as a storehouse of medicines used by armed elements"He said.[/rtl]


    [rtl]The Afghan army had announced on Thursday, the killing of 14 militants in the province of Gozan in northern Afghanistan, including two foreigners carrying the nationality of Uzbekistan.[/rtl]
