Security Committee: Americans have begun to establish bases in Iraq

     Baghdad / Range

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The United States is set up to establish stable bases in Iraq, the committee for security and defense said on Tuesday, days after the start of a coalition withdrawal from Iraq.
The Iraqi government spokesman Saad al-Hadithi, has caused everyone in a great confusion when he supported the press reports published earlier this month, indicated the start of the departure of US forces Iraq after 4 years of participation in the war against a sympathetic organization.
At the time, the Pentagon clearly denied the reports, saying its mission was not yet over, but indicated that only heavy weapons might be withdrawn.
At that time, officials said, they saw in the far west of the US military ants routinely inspecting areas close to the border.
Officials said the movement of US troops in the country suggests staying longer than the political circles in Iraq believe.
"The United States occupied Iraq in 2003 and came out of it at the end of 2011 under the blows of the armed resistance, which is accompanied by heavy losses of lives and equipment," said the head of the security committee in parliament, Governor of Zamili, in a statement received yesterday, To a new stage through the establishment of fixed bases, including the lion and the caribbean, Balad and Taji and in northern Iraq. "
Zamili added that "the US occupation is working to establish a new base near the port of Walid on the Syrian border in the vast desert region to be close to Syria to balance the conflict there with Russia and Iran," adding that "the number of US troops in Iraq reached 8,000 soldiers in Iraq".
He added that "after the elimination of terrorist gangs, we today do not need the presence of foreign forces and the landing and take off of US aircraft without control and full control of the Iraqi airspace," pointing out that "the Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary rejects any foreign entity trying to impose its presence on Iraqi territory."
Al-Zamili reiterated his rejection of "any foreign presence on Iraqi soil, whether by the American occupation forces or others," stressing the need to "respect all countries for the sovereignty of Iraq."
Since the declaration of Baghdad at the end of last year, the defeat of the organization after the battles lasted about 3 years, and the question of the date of withdrawal of foreign troops poses a lot in the corridors of political.
Since 2014, coalition forces have been working in Iraq with official invitation and approval from Baghdad for a staunch confrontation.
