    Baghdad and Erbil agree to transfer controversial files until after the elections


    The MP of the Islamic Union of Kurdistan, Jamil Koger, on Monday, that "there is talk to postpone all the controversial files between the federal government and the Kurdistan region until after the elections," noting that "talk and negotiation came to make room for negotiating committees to resolve all points of contention."
    "The agreement provides for the resumption of work at Erbil and Sulaymaniyah airports and the payment of the salaries of health and education staff in exchange for the Kurdistan Regional Government to pay the salaries of the employees of the remaining ministries until the completion of the elections."
    The Prime Minister Haider Abadi, announced last Tuesday, that the salaries of employees of the Kurdistan region and the airports of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, is about to resolve, and may announce the developments ahead of the Norouz holidays.
    And expected to arrive in the Kurdistan region a delegation from the Federal Government in the coming hours, headed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Ali Alalak, to discuss issues related to revenues and imports of the Kurdistan region and to discuss other issues.
