    Head of the border crossings, Kazim al-Aqabi, discussed with Basra Governor As'ad al-Eidani and operations chief, First Lieutenant Jamil al-Shammari, Wednesday, the protection of the consumer and the citizen and mitigate the negative violations that harm the parties. 

    A statement by the Authority, "The Chairman of the Commission met with the Governor of Basra, As'ad Al-Eidani, who praised the management and organization of distinguished ports and the effective role of the head of the Ports Authority and stressed the cooperation of the province with the Commission through the provision of civil cadres covering the vacuum in the outlets, Land for the purpose of expanding trade exchange in addition to covering the roads towards the ports and for his part, the governor expressed his approval of the requirements of the Authority.

    On the other hand, "the head of the border crossing operations met with the first team leader Jamil al-Shammari and during the meeting discussed the protection of the consumer and the citizen and mitigate the negative violations that harm the parties. He also stressed the role of the Ports Authority in supervising and controlling the border crossings, .

    He stressed the importance of working as a team for the purpose of eliminating violations in customs duties and showed the commander of operations cooperation in order to be common contexts to eliminate those legal violations, stressing the drawing of a plan to interact with all ports of the province of Basra has been agreed to equip a force to protect the ports for the purpose of imposing the rule of law ideal".

    The team stressed the serious endeavor to help the Authority and provide all the requirements for the public good. 
    It was decided to develop a plan of action between the Commission and the Basra Operations Command.
