Deputy: Jubouri presented the budget to the Finance Committee only and did not put it in Parliament

BAGHDAD / The MP for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Najibah Najib, on Thursday, that the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri introduced the budget law on the Finance Committee only and did not put it before the parliament, after the refusal of President Fuad Masum to ratify it.
Najib told "Iraq News" that "President Fuad Masum, when he rejected the federal budget for the year 2018 and returned to parliament, was presented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri to the Finance Committee only and took its opinion and returned the budget to the presidency.
"Jubouri did not care about the rest of the deputies and did not offer them the budget and only the opinion of the Finance Committee and this precedent is rejected because the previous laws when rejected from the Presidency of the Republic is presented to the parliament and is discussed only in the budget, where Jubouri refused to discuss again and make the amendment," noting that " The President of the Republic rejects the budget and will not ratify it because there are constitutional violations, including taxes imposed by astronomical numbers on citizens. "
