New details about Israel's attack on the Syrian airport

The newspaper "The Wall Street Journal " American details of the new Israeli strike on the military airforce military airport in the countryside of Homs in central Syria on 9 April.
The newspaper said in its report that "the Israeli strike came after an interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with US President Donald Trump."
According to the newspaper, the strike targeted the latest systems of the Iranian air defenses that were in the Syrian military airport in question.

The newspaper said that "Benjamin Netanyahu after talking with Trump ordered to strike the latest battery of Iranian defenses to prevent it from targeting Israeli aircraft."
"The strikes have achieved their objectives and destroyed the Iranian air defense battery, which was brought recently and before being processed for use, as well as the destruction of a hangar for Iranian aircraft marching at the military base."
"The United States is committed to cooperating with Israel in curbing Iranian influence in Syria, but Pentagon officials have expressed concern that a direct confrontation with Iranian forces could lead to strikes by US forces in Syria," the paper said.
The military airport in the countryside of Homs in central Syria was attacked on April 9, Syria blamed Israel for the rocket attack, and the Russian Defense Ministry announced that two Israeli F-15 fighter jets carried out the attack on the airport, but Israel remained silent.[/size]
