According to informed sources, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi intends to take similar steps with other ministers, similar to his decision against the Minister of Electricity on Sunday.
The sources said that "Abadi is in the process of withdrawing the hand of a new group of ministers, as happened with the Minister of Electricity Qassim Fahdawi, who issued the decision to withdraw the hand, and the prevention of travel."
Law experts say the decision to withdraw the hand does not mean dismissing the fact that the government is a caretaker government and the absence of the House of Representatives, which has the power to vote to dismiss the minister.
"The Minister of Electricity commented on the decision of Abadi, saying that he" welcomes him and called on senior cadres in the ministry to cooperate with any investigative committee in order to communicate the facts.
Withdrawal of the hand is to prevent the employee from continuing to perform his or her temporary employment while retaining his or her functional connection, and that it is a temporary precautionary measure to be taken by the administration when the staff member is subject to disciplinary or penal proceedings.
