The Parliamentary Integrity Committee called on Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to take serious decisions against the general inspectors and to withdraw those involved in corruption.
A member of the committee, high Nassif said in a statement that the process of control does not need a lot of public inspectors in one ministry, and should be reduced to one inspector only to maintain the importance of work and not to comply with political pressure to cover up some files.
Nassif pointed out that some political parties have penetrated into the Supreme Council for Combating Corruption to make it a tool to achieve its objectives and cover up some of the files of corruption.
