Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said there were no plans to hold a meeting with his US counterpart, Mike Pompeo, during the UN General Assembly.
"There are no plans to hold a meeting with US officials on the sidelines of the United Nations meetings. We have already stated our position," the minister wasquoted as saying by the Tasnim news agency .[/size]
"Trump's delight in Turkey's economic suffering, which is his NATO ally, is shameful," Zarif said in a tweet on Twitter.
"The United States must reconsider its addiction to sanctions and domination, otherwise the whole world will unite to force it to do so, and it will not only end with verbal condemnations," he said. "We have stood by our neighbors and we will stand again now. "He said.
