The Secretary General of the Jordanian Ministry of Transport, Anmar Al-Khasawneh, Sunday, that the Iraqi side responded to a set of observations made by the government to facilitate the movement of transport between the two countries.
Al-Khasawneh said in a statement to the newspaper "Al-Ghad" and reviewed by "Economy News" that "these observations included procedures and delays on the border posts, and procedures for unloading the load from Jordanian trucks to Iraq (back to back), as well as matters related to transport that will accompany the import of oil from Iraq".
He added that "the two parties held intensive talks last week to facilitate the movement of trucks between the two countries," noting that "the process of shipping goods between the two countries is still through the unloading of cargo in the free zone between the two countries, and the same mechanism since the opening of the crossing of Trebil about a year after the closure Lasted 3 years.
