    On Thursday evening, the first edge of land transport for individuals from the Iraqi capital Baghdad to Amman, after the reopening of the port of Trebil, the road to the international road for the first time since 2015. 

    Director of the General Company for the transfer of passengers and Iraqi delegations Abdullah al-Aybi said that the company " To liberate the city of Al-Anbar from gangs and to encourage the terrorist to create a fleet to transport people on land and resume movement and develop the movement of people through the international road link between the capitals of the two brotherly countries, and through the port of Trebil, which was opened recently. 

    He explained that the company has developed future plans for the development of land transport, which connects Iraq with his brothers from neighboring countries, especially with Jordan. 

    He said that "the Mercedes-type VIP bus was launched yesterday morning from Al-Alawi garage in Baghdad towards Amman, and that work will continue on this line with the border ports and related parties."

    He pointed out that the company was "waiting for the end of hard work to repair the damage suffered in the road as a result of what he did a bomb explosion that led to severe damage to the road and the bridges erected on it." 

    He praised the cooperation of the concerned Jordanian authorities and their keenness to facilitate the procedures for the resumption of the transfer of people between the two countries and the preparation of all the requirements. 

    The international land line between Baghdad and Amman was stopped and closed after the control of elements of the "Daash" on the city of Anbar and its cities in 2015.  

    Officials in both countries discussed in mutual visits the process of opening the road after the liberation of Anbar and its cities of the " At the end of August, countries announced the opening of the road and the resumption of truck traffic and commercial transport exclusively.
