    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary the current tensions in Iraq and the steps taken on way of resolving the current crisis.
    A statement by the INA cited “Jaafary heading a delegation from the Reform Trend’s leading figures visited on last Wednesday Hakim where they discussed the dialogue being conducted to address the current political crisis and meet the demands of the demonstrations.”

    “The two sides stressed the need to keep the INA’s role active in resolving the problems that face the political process as the Alliance is considered the largest parliamentary bloc, they also emphasized on preserving the coordination between the legislative and executive authorities,” the statement added.
    “Jaafary called all to work together to meet the legitimate among the demonstrators’ demands,” it pointed out.

    “For his part, Hakim praised the way the demonstrators of the western provinces released their demands where they kept on the demonstrations peaceful,” the statement concluded.
