Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi met on Monday with President Barham Salih in the Presidential Office.
The Minister of Planning briefed the President on the Ministry's plans and the actual preparations for the completion of the General Population Census at the end of 2020, the Ministry's vision for the 2030s for sustainable development, and ways to overcome the difficulties facing reconstruction and support programs in the liberated areas.
He added that "the Ministry of Planning has embarked on the actual preparations for the implementation of the next strategic plans."
For his part, Saleh praised the efforts exerted to make the ministry's strategic plans successful, stressing the importance of adopting them seriously by all state institutions.
The President also praised the positive spirit enjoyed by the leadership of the Ministry for the success of development plans, stressing at the same time the provision of his Excellency all kinds of support, in order to overcome all the difficulties facing the work of the government in general, and the Ministry of Planning in particular
