A source in Diwaniyah, Friday (February 8, 2019), revealed the presence[url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/32972/%D9%82%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%A3%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%83%D9%8A%D8%A9]of US forces[/url] in the province.
The source said in a press statement that "a convoy of US troops was coming from the province of Basra, and on the international highway quickly passed through the province of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] through the outside road."
He pointed out that "the convoy did not enter the direction of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]but continued towards the capital Baghdad."
Activists on social networking sites had previously reported reports [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/32972/%D9%82%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%AA %D8%A3%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%83%D9%8A%D8%A9]of US forces[/url] in Diwaniyah, which enjoys relative security stability relative to other provinces, where US forces are in joint bases with Iraqi forces for training and cooperation.
