    Al-Mahmoudawi said during a field tour with the deputy governor of Basra, Dhargham al-Ajudi, when the landslide collapsed in the city of Ajirda and the River Sweib in the north of the province in a press statement, "Eye of Iraq News," that after the warnings that were directed yesterday to the Iraqi government surprised us at the Ministry of Water Resources, "If there was a serious follow-up by the Directorate of the revival of the marshes, whether in the province of Basra or Maysan, it is supposed to turn those waters towards the net preserve in Basra.
    Al-Mahmoudawi said that "today it was observed that the protected area is dry and directs the water in the wrong direction in the Iraqi-Iranian border," pointing out that when the quality of the water was examined in the Haweezah River it was found that there was an increase in the amount of salts reaching more than 12 thousand (TDS) poor water file management by the ministry concerned.
