Economic expert Ghadir Al-Attar, the House of Representatives to take steps to stop the work of the Council of Ministers on the exemption of customs for goods.
Al-Attar said in a seminar on the "agreement with Jordan" held in Baghdad and attended by / Mawazin News / "The Council of Representatives to take serious steps to stop the decision of the Council of Ministers No. (25) for the year 2019 on the exemption of customs until the matter is studied by the specialized committees in the House of Representatives in consultation With the private sector ".
Al-Attar said, "Iraq's position in the case of the rest of the neighboring countries requested customs exemptions similar to the Kingdom of Jordan?"
Al-Attar warned of "weak control of the border crossings and the possibility of entering non-exempt goods under the slogan of exemptions."
