(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The head of the Coalition for Reform and Reconstruction, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, Iraq is recovering and taking its role in the region.
Mr. Ammar al-Hakim spoke in a speech to the elite of the Iraqi community in the city of The Hague, the Iraqi concern and the developments and positive changes that took place in Iraq, and also pointed to the current challenges and the need to achieve victory to strengthen the previous victories.
"He stressed," Although we are witnessing phenomena Corruption, mistakes and great challenges must be addressed, but shedding light on the negatives and problems creates the impression of people that everything in Iraq is a waste.
"He added:" We are optimistic but we look at the challenges in depth and clarity, and there are still serious problems and sensitive and dangerous, but a Iraq recovers days after the other. "
"If we compare Iraq and the various countries of the region that have undergone a shift in their system from dictatorship to democracy, we will find that our country is the most steadfast and advanced despite the great challenges that exceed the challenges of those countries," he said.
"We should not compare the situation of Iraq as a country that has lived with 50 years of wars, siege and destruction and long-standing countries in the region, even if we compare what we were and what we are today to create a more optimistic outlook despite the many problems and challenges," he said.
He pointed out that "Iraq in 2019 is not like Iraq in 2003, the proportion of 49% of our people are under nineteen years and this shows that nearly half of the Iraqi people represent the post-dictatorship generation," pointing out that "the large youth energy in Iraq, Double-edged, and must be planned in order to employ them properly to promote the country. "
"We saw in 2018 strategic variables in leaving the national and sectarian entrenchment that we were witnessing in the political process and we are in front of two major alliances (reform and construction), each of which includes political forces of different components of Iraq."
He pointed out that "the experience of the two major alliances (reform and construction) led to the absence of sectarian discourse in Iraq, because anyone who directs a sectarian speech will face a problem with allies in the coalition to which he belongs himself, and this is a great achievement was not expected by many.
He stressed that "the development of the relationship with neighboring countries and the world, and the multiple visits of presidents and kings of other countries to Iraq in recent months confirms that others believe that Iraq has emerged from the bottleneck and began to regain strength and impact in the region."
"The great victory achieved by our security forces of all kinds in the war with the urging of granting Iraq self-confidence, and this is a very important element for the success of peoples and nations," he said.
"It is natural that the ceiling of people's expectations when they emerge from war is very high, demanding services and reform and this is a right for them, and the right of our people to demand after the victory to provide the necessary services and must work to provide."
"The authorization of some of the political forces of the Prime Minister to choose who he sees fit to occupy sites that fall within the entitlements of the election represents an important development praised by a number of representatives of other countries in Iraq as a unique situation did not happen in another country.
