The head of the national wisdom movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, said Iraq is on the democratic path.
"On the International Day of Democracy, we believe that this advanced mode of governance and country management is the main motivation on which the values of freedom, respect for human rights and the principle of fair and periodic elections are held by universal suffrage," said Ammar al-Hakim in a statement received by the Euphrates News Agency.
