BAGHDAD / NINA / The MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, Mohsen al-Sadoun accused some blocs of seeking to postpone approving the budget after the next parliamentary elections.

Sadoun said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / : " The Quartet committee did not issue , so far , any report about its meetings, so the Committee has failed to reach agreement on the subject of exporting oil from the region."

He added : "The Kurdistan Regional Government made an offer to export 100 000 barrels per day , starting this month , which provides a clear evidence about its desire to approve the budget, but there is a will of some of the blocs to postpone approval after the election. " Noting that " the federal government welcomed the offer but without real activating."

Sadoun did not mention these blocs by names , but he made it clear that "The Kurdish blocs does not bear responsibility for delaying the budget or not approving it now . And the federal government is the part that delay, in addition to blocs that attend, then allege through media they want to approve the budget , but they did not attend as required and sufficient to complete the quorum to discuss budget and then approve it .
