The Iraqi Ministry of Migration and Displaced said Wednesday it will allocate a percentage of employment programs and loans from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to Iraqis returning from abroad, specifically the European Union countries.
"The ministry has received a percentage of the employment program and loans for returnees from EU countries in order to raise their standard of living and stability in society and prevent illegal immigration from being considered again," ministry spokesman Ali Abbas Jahakir said in a statement.
He pointed out that "the beneficiaries of this program will be covered by loans within the program to support small income-generating projects, after training and qualification to manage their projects." He added that "they will be added points within the algorithm of electronic sorting of those covered by these loans."
