The source said in an interview with Alsumaria News, that "oil exploration company, one of the formation of the Ministry of Oil stopped its work in the exploration of rich oil and gas sites have been explored by the company in a short time ago in the areas of Sukkar and Husseiniyat towards Saad Air Base in the district of Rutba west of Anbar."
The source, who asked not to be named, said that "the reasons that prevented the continuation of work in the areas mentioned is due to the company's failure to obtain security approvals from the concerned authorities, not to mention the lack of cooperation of some parties with the company concerned to accomplish its work."
The source pointed out that "the company asked the security leaders to clear all the targeted areas from the danger of unexploded weapons and provide security protection for the company's staff when carrying out its work."
