    Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Mr. Fouad Hussein, on November 6, 2019, the Ministerial Council of the economy in the presence of the ministers of Planning, Trade, Industry, Labor and Social Affairs and the Governor of the Bank of the Central and Chairman of the National Authority for Investment and Deputy Governor of the central bank agent and the Ministries of Finance and Planning and Director General of the Budget Department And the Prime Minister's Advisor for Economic Affairs.
    During the meeting, the meeting focused on discussing the draft state budget law and how to deal with the developments related to the demands of the demonstrators in the general budget for the coming year through providing job opportunities and attention to the poor segments and social justice and the establishment of service projects that are in the interest of the citizen.
    The Council also took several important economic decisions related to improving the working environment, investment and economy in Iraq, including the delay in importing date products to be available in the central markets and discuss a number of other economic topics on its agenda .
