    (Baghdad: Euphrates News) A member of the Council of Representatives of the bloc Sauron peace Shammari categorical rejection of the election law sent by the Council of Ministers.
    Al-Shammari said in a statement received by the Euphrates News, "The religious authority is constantly stressing to meet the legitimate demands of peaceful demonstrators, not writing laws that entrench quotas and circumvent the shouts and sacrifices of those demanding comprehensive reform."
    He added that "the government is trying hard to bet on the time to end the peaceful demonstrations in addition to other methods, which led to many victims and injured and not to inform the public of the parties that kidnap activists in particular."
    Al-Shammari explained that "the will of political parties and the survival of their presence in power has been achieved through the draft elections prepared and sent by the Council of Ministers and this is contrary to the guidance and advice of the religious authority."
    He considered "the draft electoral law sent by the Council of Ministers to circumvent the opinion and directives of the religious authority and disregard the blood of revolutionary martyrs demonstrators demanding reform."
    "It is important for the government to understand that what is happening in the country is an uprising of an angry people whose legitimate demands must be met without delay," he said.
