Baghdad - Mawazine News, the
head of the National Wisdom Stream, Ammar al-Hakim, condole the martyrdom of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Committee and commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Major General Qassim Soleimani, with an American raid in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport at dawn today, Friday.
Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim said in a statement that the Mawazine News Agency received a copy of it, "With great sadness and sorrow, we extend our condolences to the Iraqi and Iranian peoples with the deepest condolences for the martyrdom of the two great leaders Hajj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Deputy Chairman of the Popular Mobilization Authority and Commander of the Quds Force, Major General Qassem Soleimani. The sacrifice had a leading role in combating terrorism and the victory against ISIS. "
He added, "As we strongly condemn and condemn this targeting and flagrant violation of the sovereignty of Iraq, we warn of the repercussions, effects and seriousness of this targeting, as it places the region on a hot plate."
And Mr. Ammar al-Hakim called "the Iraqi government in this sensitive circumstance to take the necessary measures to deter such attacks."
