    [size=18]On Monday, the British government urged Iraq to ensure the continuation of the "vital work" of the international coalition, while stressing that it has no intention of imposing sanctions on Iraq.


    A spokesman for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, in a statement quoted by Reuters, said that Johnson will meet with senior ministers today to discuss Middle East issues, and speak to the Prime Minister of Iraq.

    He explained, that his government has no plans to impose sanctions on Iraq, calling on Baghdad to ensure that the international coalition against "ISIS" can continue its vital work.







    The spokesman noted that Iran's announcement that it would abandon restrictions on uranium enrichment was a cause for concern, and that Britain was urgently talking to the parties about the upcoming moves to be taken.

    The spokesman added that there are international conventions that prevent the destruction of cultural heritage, after US President Donald Trump threatened to target 52 Iranian sites, including important targets of Iranian culture, if Tehran attacked American citizens or origin
