Basra: Work continues to rehabilitate the General Iron and Steel Company

The Director of the General Company for Iron and Steel in Basra, Abbas Hayyal, announced today, Friday, the continuation of work to rehabilitate the company within the contract concluded with the Turkish company Yubi Holdink.
"About 90% of the equipment that was manufactured by the Turkish (CTS) company to manufacture the rolling mill equipment and services, and with the Italian Danieli company to manufacture the steel factory equipment and services, have reached the company's warehouses," he said in a statement to Information Agency.
He pointed out that "there are obstacles facing the process of qualification to which the company is subjected to the lack of interest of the Ministry of Finance in launching the full amounts of rehabilitation for the year 2019, amounting to 4 billion dinars." .. End / 25p
