[/ltr]US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Thursday that the escalation of violence in Afghanistan in the past days is unacceptable and that it must stop immediately in order to proceed with the peace process.

According to the agency, "Reuters", Pompeo stated during a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that all parties should stop procrastinating and prepare for negotiations, including discussions on the practical aspects of releasing prisoners.
