The deputy of the Sadqoun bloc, Muhammad al-Baldawi, revealed, on Tuesday, the answer of Shiite political forces to the message of Prime Minister-designate Adnan al-Zorfi regarding holding a direct meeting to discuss the formation of the government.
Al-Baldawi said in a statement to "Information", "The Prime Minister-designate Adnan Al-Zarfi sent a letter to the Shiite forces requesting a direct meeting to clarify his position and provide guarantees."
He added that "the political forces responded to him by refusing and advised him to withdraw from the commissioning in order to maintain his presence within the component and not to listen to those who push him to continue forming the government, especially the Americans," saying that "the issue has become a challenge, and that is between the imposition of the will of Barham Saleh and the refusal of the Shiite political forces."
Al-Baladawi indicated that “the Kurdistan Alliance forces and the Union of Forces told Al-Zarfi that they would not announce their support for him without obtaining the green light from the Shiite political forces,” stressing that “Al-Zarfi’s fate will be with Allawi’s fate.” Ended in / 25 pm
