MP: The file of the displaced Yazidi families should not be involved in the political conflict

On Thursday, the deputy for the Yazidi component, Hussein Nermo, called for an end to the suffering of Yazidi families in the camps by returning them to their areas.
"The Yazidi families should not pay the price of the political differences between Baghdad and Erbil, so it is important to return these families to Sinjar and to provide stability," Nermo told Al-Malouma agency.
He added that "compensation for those affected must be expedited and an understanding with the regional government should be made to return the displaced families and close the camps, because suicides have increased as a result of the social and economic problems that these families are experiencing in the camps."
He pointed out that "the file of Yazidi families should not be subject to politics and the electoral struggle because it is a humanitarian file."
